MULTIPLE emergency services have been spotted due to an ongoing incident in a town road.
Valley Road in Wivenhoe is closed at Queen's Road and has been cordoned off by police.

UPDATE - Police have since confirmed that a female pedestrian has died after being in a collision with a van.

Witnesses had reported seeing multiple emergency services on the scene, including police, fire and an ambulance.
The Essex and Harts Air Ambulance confirmed they have dispatched an air ambulance to the scene.
A spokesman said: "An air ambulance was dispatched to the area today. However, at this stage, we are unable to confirm any details."
It is unknown currently what the incident is, however, other emergency services have been approached for comment.
