A WOMAN has been handed a fine of more than £800 after she admitted to assaulting an emergency worker.
Amanda Jones, 56, appeared in Colchester Magistrates Court accused of assaulting a police officer in May.
Although she initially denied the offence, she later admitted assaulting PC West whilst he was on duty.
Jones, of Wentworth Avenue, Colchester, was fined £627, and was also ordered to pay £62 to fund victim services and £150 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
The overall cost amounted to £839.
