PATROLLING police officers have engaged with residents concerned about rural crime on Mersea Island.
Essex Police officers undertook its stroll with a patrol initiative which sees residents join the force on its walks keeping an eye out for crime.
The focus of the latest event, held in East Mersea, was on rural crime and issues surrounding wildlife areas.
A police spokesman said: “[It was] good to speak to both locals and visitors to the area about rural, wildlife and heritage crime”.
