Basketball-bouncing bobbies to go head-to-head with slam dunking youngsters
SPORTS stars of the future will go head-to-head with basketball-bouncing bobbies as part of a new initiative to get more youngsters engaging with the police.
Officers from Essex Police Colchester will embark on a tour of recreation courts in Colchester throughout August alongside basketball team the Essex Rebels.
The Ballin’ With A Bobby scheme, will see budding Michael Jordans face-off with the force’s top slam dunkers in Wivenhoe, West Mersea, Monkwick and Old Heath.
