A MAN has been charged with child sexual offences.
Lulzim Saliuku, 36, of St Peter's Street, Colchester, was arrested in Ipswich Road, Colchester, at about 6.45pm on Saturday.
He was charged with attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child and attempting to cause a child to watch or look at an image of sexual activity.
Saliuku has also been charged with possession of a knife in a public place.
He appeared at Colchester Magistrates’ Court on Monday and is next due to appear at Ipswich Crown Court on August 22.
