Poet to bring performance of written word to Colchester Arts Centre
A NOTED writer is set to bring an evening of poetry to Colchester Arts Centre.
Blake Morrison will stage a performance of poetry with music as he reads from his collection Shingle Street and other, more recent, poems about East Anglia.
His readings will be accompanied by original music composed and played by The Hosepipe Band.
Morrison is an English poet, novelist and journalist who has published in a wide range of fiction and non-fiction genres.
Doors open at 7.30pm on Thursday for an 8pm start.
Tickets cost £10, concessions £9, and are available from the box office on 01206 500900.
