A MOTORIST has been taken to hospital after a car crashed into a parked vehicle.
Essex Police says its officers were called to De Burgh Road, Colchester, shortly after 4.40pm on Monday in response to the incident.
The force stated it involved two vehicles, one of which was stationary.
A police spokeswoman said: “This was a minor injury collision road traffic collision involving two vehicles.
“One of the drivers involved was taken to hospital with minor injuries.”
The East of England Ambulance Service stated an ambulance, a rapid response vehicle, an operations manager and an air ambulance were sent to the scene.
"An adult woman was transported to Colchester General Hospital," a spokesman added.
