ILLUMINATED signs are to be installed along a road notorious for speeding motorists warning them to slow them down.
The speed indicator devices will be put in place in Colchester Road, West Bergholt, as further safety measures to help protect young school pupils.
The vehicle activated signs will be installed near to School Lane on July 11 to 13.
Lexden and Braiswick councillor Lewis Barber said: “This stretch of Colchester Road has maximum danger for children and is where the new pedestrian crossing is envisaged to go."
