A ROAD has been closed in both directions after a crash involving a motorbike happened earlier today in Halstead.
According to Inrix, the A1124 Hedingham Road has been closed in both directions between Bradleys Lane and A131 Market Hill.
The road connects the north-west side of Halstead to the west-side of Essex, and traffic could build up in the area very quickly and easily.
Motorists are urged to avoid the area however and take alternative routes around the scene.
It is not yet known whether anyone was injured, or the severity of the accident.
