Middlewick's future to be rubberstamped in crunch meeting next week
AN extraordinary council meeting is set to finalise the future of Middlewick Ranges.
Colchester Council will hold the meeting on Monday where it will consider the hugely-opposed recommendation for 1,000 homes to be built on the Wick.
The allocation of the homes dominated a near three-hour debate earlier this month surrounding Section 2 of Colchester’s Local Plan.
The MoD is expected to sell the land for development when firing operations move to Fingringhoe, despite hundreds of objections from residents.
The meeting will commence at the Town Hall from 6pm.
