TWO men were arrested after a police dog sniffed out a quantity of suspected Class A drugs inside a car.
Colchester’s Local Policing Team spotted the “suspicious vehicle” in Shrub End while patrolling and detained its two occupants for a stop and search.
Despite one of the men trying to make a quick getaway, one officer chased on foot and managed to stop him.
Police dog Dougie was then called in whose expert nose managed to located suspected Class A drugs behind several compartments of the car.
Both men were arrested and charged with a number of drugs offences.
