Fire station to host open day for resident eager to learn about their firefighters
RESIDENTS are being encouraged to attend an event at the headquarters of an emergency service to learn more about the frontline teams protecting them.
Colchester Fire Station, in Cowdray Avenue, is hosting an open day on July 16 between 10am and 4pm and the public are being invited along.
A spokesman for the Essex Fire Service said: “Come along to Colchester Fire Station to learn more about your local firefighters.”
