Scene - Police in Hythe Station Road, Colchester
POLICE officers conducted an investigation throughout the night after a man was reportedly found injured.
Essex Police were called to Hythe Station Road, in Colchester, shortly after 8.30pm on Sunday before putting a cordon in place.
After arriving at the scene and being informed an injured man had been discovered, officers launched an investigation which continued into the early hours.
A spokesman for Essex Police has now said: “We are now satisfied that no crime has taken place.”
