SPEED conscious volunteers and police officers issued five tickets to motorists during a morning of action.
Essex Police’s roads policing team joined forces with community speedwatch volunteers in Colchester on Thursday morning.
The force stated it issued five tickets by 8.15am as work was undertaken during the school run to keep families safe.
