A TASTER event is being held for adults wanting to join classes on a huge variety of subjects.

ACL Maldon is an adult education provider of classes ranging from cooking, jewellery making and pottery to GCSE and higher education qualifications.

Tutors will be at the event to answer questions and there will be a chance to sign up for courses that start in September.

The latest apprenticeship opportunities will also be discussed.

Anyone interested in getting back into education can go the event for more information.

Katherine Burns, ACL Essex principal, said: “At ACL Essex we help people develop the necessary skills to get a job in their ideal career pathway.

“We are excited to showcase the support and courses on offer, and we welcome adults of all ages and abilities to come and see what we’re about.

“Learners are supported to gain the qualifications they’ve always wanted or start-up a new hobby you’ve always wanted to try, meet like-minded people and make new friends.”

The Be Inspired taster and information event is on from Monday, July 4 to Friday, July 8, at the ACL Maldon site at Carmelite House, White Horse Lane, Maldon.
