We have opened an online book of condolence for Antonella Castelvedere, 52, who passed away after an incident in Colchester.
Dr Castelvedere was at a property in Wickham Road on Wednesday, June 1, when she was fatally injured.
Despite the efforts of paramedics, the University of Suffolk lecturer was pronounced dead at 12.22pm.
The devastated university community has since paid tribute to the “well-liked” senior English literature lecturer.
A vigil was also held on Friday where residents paid their respects.
