HUNDREDS of performers both young and old are set to take to the stage in celebration of a range of music icons.
Taylor’s Dance Company, which is based in Lexden, Colchester, will perform two shows at the Mercury Theatre on Saturday at 2pm and 6.30pm.
The performances will see 240 people aged between two and 65 honour music legends such as Queen, Frank Sinatra, Billie Eilish and Taylor Swift.
The event will mark the first time the cast has been able to perform the annual show since the beginning of the pandemic.
Niki Taylor, who founded the arts school back in 2015 and now has branches in both Colchester and Braintree, cannot wait for her entertainers to dazzle the crowd.
She said: “We are incredibly thankful to be back performing and performing at the Mercury Theatre.
“It's a fantastic opportunity for the children and they will have an amazing time – it is very exciting.
“Our dance extravaganza celebrates music icons, young and old. Join us for an evening of fantastic music and amazing dancing.”
Tickets for the shows cost £19 and can be purchased by visiting mercurytheatre.co.uk or by calling the venue box office on 01206573948.
