A CAR has been seized by police officers after its owner failed to insure it.
The Peugeot was stopped by Essex Police’s operational support group team in Halstead on Saturday.

Officers said the vehicle has been seized and the driver, who has been reported for the alleged offence, is now awaiting six points on their licence and a £300 fine.
A police spokesman said the vehicle had been uninsured for "quite a while", adding: “They can elect to go to court if they wish.”
