SPECIALIST medics were deployed to a coastline emergency after receiving reports of a man in urgent need of assistant.
The Essex & Herts Air Ambulance was sent to help paramedics and coastguard crew members on Wednesday with a medical emergency.
After arriving at the scene, the trio of teams worked together to optimise the outcome of an injured male patient.
He was subsequently transferred to the emergency department of a hospital for ongoing treatment.
