A SEX offender who possessed videos of people engaging in intercourse with horses and dogs also had pictures of children.

Ross Everitt made two Category C indecent photographs of children at and distributed another on September 22 last year.

Colchester Magistrates’ Court heard the 40-year-old also possessed “extreme pornography” involving people having sexual intercourse with dogs and horses on September 4.

Police officers found Everitt, of Forest Road, Witham, had 15 pictures and nine videos of the disturbing illegal material when they investigated.

Everitt admitted the three charges but was spared a prison sentence by magistrates.

All electronic devices, photographs and images involved in the crimes have now been forfeited ahead of their destruction.

He was ordered to sign the sex offenders register for five years and was made the subject of a sexual harm prevention order for the same period of time.

Furthermore, Everitt must undertake up to 60 days of a rehabilitation activity requirement and was ordered to carry out 250 of unpaid work to repay the community.

He must also pay £200 in court costs and a surcharge to fund victim services.
