AN alcohol thief has been ordered to undertake rehabilitation after stealing from a supermarket.
Christopher Hazelder was caught after taking £102.50 worth of alcohol from a Colchester Sainsbury’s store on May 14.
The 51-year-old, of Salamanca Way, Colchester, admitted one count of theft when he appeared at Colchester Magistrates’ Court.
He was told he must be treated for drug dependency for six months and will undertake up to 30 days of a rehabilitation activity requirement.
