A CLACTON community website has honoured a car service company for being the best small business in town.
The Canberra Carriage Company received the half of all votes case by users of thebestof.co.uk/clacton-on-sea, ahead of seven other companies in the car specialist category.
Steve Adams, who owns the website, explained: "We choose seven businesses in each category from those that have had good reviews on the site.
"Registered users can then vote for their favourite."
He added: "Canberra Carriage Company has had some stunning reviews on the website. It's important for local people to have a say and be able to recognise worthwhile businesses."
Keith Rose is co-partner of the Oxford Road company alongside mechanic Mark Hanlon.
He said: "We are very pleased to have been recognised by our customers, and that they appreciate the service we give them."
It is just over a year since Keith and Mark took over the running of the business from former owners Brian Cooper and Terry Turner, who ran the business for 17 years.
