A MAN has been fined for a string of offences.

James Lang, of Whitmore Drive, Colchester, was found with cannabis in Ipswich in August 2020.

On the same date, he was also charged with being drunk and disorderly in a public place and for beating a police officer.

The 31-year-old admitted charges of drunk and disorderly behaviour and being in possession of drugs and was found guilty of assault by beating of an emergency worker.

When appearing in Suffolk Magistrates’ Court, he was fined £300 in total.
