A WOMAN has been fined after assaulting an emergency worker.
Kerry Vernon, of Reparrin Square, Colchester, assaulted a police officer in the town last September.
She admitted the charge of assault by beating and was fined £120 when she appeared in Colchester Magistrates’ Court earlier this month.
The 46-year-old was also ordered to pay £34 in victim surcharge costs and £105 in prosecution costs.
