FORMER Colchester United striker Theo Robinson is on the lookout for a new club.

Robinson is one of six players to be released by League Two club Bradford City today.

Callum Cooke, Caolan Lavery, Gareth Evans, Olivier Sukiennicki and Richard O’Donnell have also been told they will not be offered contracts by the Bantams.

Robinson joined Bradford on a one-year deal last August, after leaving Port Vale.

The striker played 23 league games for the Bantams, five of them starts, scoring twice.

In total, Robinson made 26 appearances for Bradford, scoring four times.

The 33-year-old had previously finished the 2019-20 season as the U's top scorer with 12 goals, following his loan spell from Southend United.

Robinson initially joined Colchester on loan from the Shrimpers in August, 2019.

And when that came to an end, he agreed another loan spell at the U's until the end of the season.

In total, Robinson made 34 appearances for Colchester during his time at the JobServe Community Stadium.

Meanwhile, goalkeeper Sam Hornby, who had a successful loan spell at Colchester in the second half of this season, remains at Bradford.

The 27-year-old, who has a year remaining on his deal at Valley Parade, played eight times for the U's during his time at the club.
