A MAN has to pay more than £370 after travelling between two stations in town without a train ticket.
Kevin Sampson, 45, was boarding a train from Harwich Town station to Harwich International station when he failed to present a valid ticket for his £2.20 journey.
The offence took place on December 11 and was proved at Reading Magistrates Court under the single justice procedure.
Sampson, of School Court, East Street, Harwich, was fined £220, ordered to pay costs of £150 and a compensation of £2.20
