Punished - Lee Brown was ordered to pay compensation for his crimes
AN alcohol thief has been banned from entering a supermarket after a series of raids.
Lee Brown, 52, stole £304 worth of alcohol from the Co-op in Stanway Retail Park, Peartree Road, Colchester, across three days from April 1.
Brown, of Greenstead Road, Colchester, must now pay £443.50 in compensation, a surcharge and court costs after admitting the crimes.
He was also made the subject of a Criminal Behaviour Order which bans him from entering the shop for one year.
