Drivers can expect delays in Halstead as a road prepares to shut for 68 days.

The close will be imposed on in the White Ash Green area from its junction with Bradleys Lane.

The closure is needed while work is carried out by Cadent with worms starting on May 30.

Cadent will shut the road while they conduct gas mains replacement work.

There will be a diversions via the A131.

  •  A road closure is set to come to Colchester on June 6.

Turner Road in Colchester is set to close from its junction with Mill Road to its junction with North Approach Road. The closure will last five nights with closing time starting at 8pm and ending at 5am.

The closure is needed while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

  •  A road is also set to close in West Mersea.

East Road will close for a total of five days from its junction with Brierley Avenue to its junction with Brierley Paddocks.

The road will shut from June 6 while new connection works are undertaken by Anglian Water.

  •  Birch Road in Copford is set to close for three days.

The road will shut from its junction with Church Road to its junction with Fountain Lane.

The closure will commence on May 30 with carriageway patching works being undertaken by Essex County Council.

  •  Walnut tree Way, in Colchester, is set to close from its junction with Rayner Road from May 29.

The closure is taking place for one day while new connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

  •  Manor Road, in Colchester, is closing from its junction with Rawstorn Road for one day from May 23.

During the closure, there will be a suspension of one-way traffic on Manor Road from its junction with Crowhurst Road.

There will also be a suspension of the one-way restriction of Crowhurst Road from its junction with Papillon Road to its junction with Manor Road

The closure and restrictions are needed while disconnection works are undertaken by Anglian Water.

  •  St Helens Lane, in Colchester, is set to close from its junction with East Stockwell Street to its junction with Taylor Court.

The closure will last one day, starting on May 19.

It is required while meter exchange works are undertaken by Anglian Water.

  •  Drivers can also expect delays with a 16-day closure coming to Colne Engaine.

Colne Engaine Road is set to close on May 16 from the junction with Halstead Road to the junction with Colne Road.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

  •  Wethersfield Road in Sible Hedingham, is set to close from west of its junction with Prayors Hill.

The closure will last three days, starting on May 23.

This is while broadband installation works are undertaken by Gigaclear Ltd.

  •  A closure is also coming to Church Street in Great Maplestead.

It will close on May 30 for three days from south west of its junction with Lucking Street.

This is while new connection works are undertaken by Anglian Water.

  •  Crabb's Hill in Hatfield Peverel is set to close south west of its junction with Sportsmans Lane for three days from May 16.

This is while premise point installation works are undertaken by Anglian Water.

  •  Connaught Avenue in Frinton on Sea, is set to close from its junction with Walton Road to its junction with Pole Barn Lane for one night from May 23.

It will start at 11.50pm and reopen at 4.50am.

This is while an inspection is undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd.
