A MAN has been fined and had four points put on his licence after driving the wrong way down a slip road.
Marc Emmanuel Aroud, 44, of West Street, Harwich, was found to be driving a Honda Civic without due care and attention on the A12 in Margaretting.
The incident took place on August 13, when Aroud was caught driving the wrong way on the slip road towards oncoming traffic.
The offence was proved at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court.
Aroud was fined £220, ordered to pay costs of £90 and a victim surcharge of £34.
