CELEBRATING residents are being encouraged to help form a museum display to mark the Queen’s Jubilee.

Colchester Council and Colchester Museums has appealed for pictures of parties held across the borough in 1977, 2002 and 2012 to be sent in to be collated for a display in Hollytrees Museum.

The photos will feature in the venue until the end of May and sit alongside an impressive collection.

The images will also be uploaded to the council’s website as part of an online photo gallery of jubilee-themed pictures from across the borough.

Pictures should be sent to mayor@colchester.gov.uk.
