Thief - Brodie Downer admitted two counts of theft
A BICYCLE thief has been ordered to repay his victims after stealing two bikes in one day.
Brodie Downer, of Thomas Benold Walk, Colchester, admitted two counts of theft when he appeared at Colchester Magistrates’ Court.
The 19-year-old stole two bicycles – worth £500 and £320 respectively - from two separate victims in Colchester on February 6 of this year.
He was ordered to undertake 60 hours of unpaid work within a year, and must pay £500 and £320 in compensation to his victims.
