Charged - Steven Spooner was handed a driving ban
A MAN who left without paying for fuel and later threatened to damage a KFC restaurant has been banned from driving.
Steven Spooner, of Erle Havard Road, West Bergholt, made off without paying for £70 worth of fuel in Stanway on January 19, 2021.
Four days later he was caught threatening a woman that property belonging to a KFC restaurant in Colchester would be damaged.
Appearing at Colchester Magistrates’ Court, Spooner admitted the offences and was ordered to pay £274 in a fine, surcharge and compensation.
He was also disqualified from driving for three months.
