COLCHESTER Zoo has announced the birth of four adorable warthog piglets in its park.

The Maldon Road attraction says the youngsters have already grown in confidence and have begun exploring their new home.

The zoo’s animal care team has now confirmed mum Hermione gave birth to three males and one female on April 5.

The births come as warthogs Hermione and Moja’s second litter, with the latter born at Colchester Zoo in June 2014.
