AN uninsured driver who dangerously got behind the wheel of a car has been handed a huge fine.
Iroy Charles, 37, drove a Vauxhall Zafira on the A12 at Stanway on July 16 last year, despite not having the relevant insurance.
Charles, of Logan Close, London, was found guilty of using a motor vehicle on a road without third party insurance by Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court.
He was ordered to pay £816 in a fine, surcharge and court costs as a result of his crime.
Charles has also been disqualified from holding of obtaining a driving licence for six months.
