COLCHESTER United host struggling Stevenage this afternoon, in League Two.

The U's lie 11 points clear of the relegation zone, heading into their game with second-from-bottom Boro, at the JobServe Community Stadium.

Colchester are looking to record three straight league wins this weekend for the first time since April, 2018.

From team news to line-ups, key men and the referee, all you need to know can be found below ahead of today's game (kick-off 3pm).

U's team news

Alan Judge (pictured below) is pushing for a start for Colchester against Stevenage, after coming off the bench to good effect in the 2-1 win at Harrogate.

Colchester are likely to be without Tom Dallison (groin) and Owura Edwards (knee), while Ryan Clampin remains sidelined with a knee injury.

Gazette:

Colchester interim head coach Wayne Brown (pictured below):

“The aim was to get enough points on the board to keep the club in the division and we haven’t achieved that yet.

“It’s not about me, or about Joe (Dunne) or about Dave (Huzzey) – it’s about Colchester United hopefully getting enough points on the board to stay in the division.

“That was the remit and we haven’t done that yet, so that’s our full focus.

“It’s about us putting in a good amount of detail that the lads can absorb, hopefully try and take and carry out onto the pitch to give us the chance to win games of football.

“We’ve got a good group to work with, so you’re in a good place straight away."

Gazette:

Colchester could face three of their former players today.

Ex-U's trio Luke Prosser, Luke Norris and Ben Coker are all part of the current Stevenage squad.

“Nos is a natural goalscorer," said U's interim boss Wayne Brown.

“I worked with him a little bit when he was here and he’s somebody that needs looking after, as do the other ten on the pitch.

“We know his strengths which can be a strength to us – we know what he can and can’t do probably better than most teams in the division."

Predicted line-ups

Colchester United: George, Coxe, Chambers, Eastman, Kenlock, Skuse, Wiredu, Chilvers, Judge, Hannant, Sears

Stevenage: Pym, Coker, Cuthbert, VanCouten, Wildin, Bostwick, Lines, Taylor, Read, List, Norris

“We’ve got seven cup finals left. We’re in a battle, I've got the troops and we'll get ready to go to Colchester."
