A MAN and woman arrested on suspicion of neglect and manslaughter following the death of a child have been rebailed until May.
The pair, aged 40 and 36 respectively, were arrested after officers were called to the Tollgate Road area in Stanway on the morning of November 7.
When officers arrived they found a two-year-old child was unresponsive.

At the time an Essex Police spokesman said: “We received a call from colleagues in the ambulance service at about 8.13am.
“We arrived and found a child unresponsive. Sadly, the two-year old died.
“We are working to establish the facts and a forensic post-mortem examination will be carried out.”
The 40-year-old man and 36-yearold woman, arrested on suspicion of child neglect and manslaughter, have now been granted police bail until May 7.
