A MISSING person was successfully found by police officers after a lengthy night-time search.
Essex Police were seen parked up in Cowdray Avenue, Colchester between 11pm on Monday and 1am on Tuesday.
Initially there was speculation from residents regarding why the force was in the area as no missing person appeal had been issued.
A spokesman for Essex Police has now said: “A missing person was located safely in the Cowdray Avenue area.”
