A MEMBER of the public was shocked to find a stream running through Hadleigh Country Park.
The water, photographed this morning, has turned beetroot red - and appears to be a form of algae bloom.
Essex County Council, which runs the park, and the Environment Agency have been contacted for further details.
It is hope experts at the government agency will be able to diagnose the issue and offer guidance to residents.
