A PENSIONER whose behaviour towards three women became out of control in Colchester Hospital has been ordered to pay compensation.
Roy Hedges lost control of his language in the hospital’s Peter Bruff Ward during the incident on January 6, 2021.
The 65-year-old was found guilty by Colchester Magistrates’ Court of three counts of using threatening, abusive, and/or insulting words, and behaving to cause harassment, alarm and/or distress to three women.
Hedges, of Kings Road, Chelmsford, was ordered to pay £100 in compensation - £300 in total - to each of his victims.
