Readers have been enjoying our look back at Colchester through the decades.
So this week we have been back to the 1990s to have a look through our archives.
Life was very different back then and town looked has changed an awful lot since then.
If you lived through the 90s you may remember the old Queen Street car park and when it was demolished.
There is no bus lane in sight and this was at a time when cars could still turn right into Queen Street.
You may also remember Keddies.
It had a small chain of shops across Essex, which began with one in Southend High Street and led to the Queen Street branch in the 70s.
However, it closed for good in 1996.
If you grew up in the 90s you'll probably remember trips to Leisure World and Quasar.
The Odeon was then in Crouch Street and would later close in 2002 and move to its current site in Head Street.
Woolworths was also among the top shopping destination before its demise in 2009.
So scroll through some of our favourite images of what it was like to live in Colchester in the nineties.

If you could bring one thing back to north Essex from the 90s, what would it be?
We'd love to hear what you have to say.
Do you have pictures of yourself at the place in question?
