Police have launched an appeal to find a teenager who is missing from Colchester. 

Michael Wilkinson, 19, was reported missing in the early hours of this morning (Tuesday, March 22). 

He has not been heard from since. 

An Essex Police spokesman said: "We are asking for your help to find Michael Wilkinson, who is missing from his home in Colchester.

"Michael, 19, was reported missing in the early hours of this morning. He has not been heard from since.

"We are concerned for his welfare and would like to locate him as quickly as possible.

"Michael, pictured, is about 5ft 8ins tall, with short, wavy black hair. He also has a goatee-style beard.

"If you see him or know where he is, please call us immediately on 101. Always 999 in an emergency."
