A MAN who drove on the A12 while not wearing a seat belt has been fined nearly £400.
Peter Khan, 42, of Straight Road, Colchester, admitted driving while not wearing a seat belt on the A12 at Junction 28 for the football stadium on June 6 last year.
The case was dealt with via the single justice procedure at Basildon Magistrates’ Court on February 2.
This means the defendant does not need to appear at court and the case is dealt with via magistrates.
Khan was handed a £384 fine and ordered to pay £90 costs and a £38 victim services fund charge.
