A MAN has been banned from the roads for 19 months after being caught drink driving in Lawford.
Robbie Pleasants, 22, of Factory Lane, Cattawade, was found to have 72 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath when he was stopped in Station Road on January 18. The legal limit is 35.
He admitted the charge at Colchester Magistrates’ Court and was banned for 19 months and fined £350.
He must also pay prosecution costs of £105 and a £35 surcharge to fund victim services.
