Man who beat a woman in Colchester handed restraining order
A MAN who assaulted a woman in Colchester has been given a restraining order.
Justin Cleveland, of Tarragone Mews, Colchester, beat the victim on October 1, 2021.
The 44-year-old was found guilty of assault by beating at Colchester Magistrates’ Court during a trial.
Magistrates handed Cleveland a restraining order which will remain in place until February 2023 and ordered him to carry out 150 hours of unpaid work within a year.
Cleveland must also pay £715 in a victim services surcharge and court costs.
