Storm Eunice's tumultuous winds were the centre of disaster, causing damage to historic trees which created hazards for those daringly leaving the house and also caused disruption to travel in the aftermath. Not only trees were affected; many found belongings had been pulled away in the harsh sway of Storm Eunice and damage was even caused to London's o2 arena.Yet now just over a week later our sky has filled with a beautiful, clear blue and gentle winds have filled the air. Some may say spring has sprung!
Although many trees continue to stand bare, it seems the spiteful Storm Eunice may have been a signal for the end of winter as the ferocious winds have fallen to a gentle sway. The branches of the previously disturbed trees now reach towards a wonderful pale blue sky and are beginning to fill with specks of green.
