A MAN caught driving at 90mph in a 50mph zone has been handed a £600 fine and penalty points.
Bradley Tarrant, 40, of Axial Drive, Colchester, was caught travelling at 90mph in an Audi on the A12 in Romford on June 22 last year.
The stretch of the road has a 50mph limit.
Tarrant admitted the offence at Stratford Magistrates’ Court on February 14.
He was handed six penalty points and fined £600.
Magistrates also ordered him to pay a £60 victim services charge and £90 costs.
They said his plea was taken into consideration with sentencing.
