Man, 21, fined after assault in Colchester
A MAN who assaulted another man in Colchester has been ordered to pay £350.
Tawfiq Rahman, of The Maltings, Haven Road, Colchester, carried out the assault on August 1 last year.
The 21-year-old admitted assault by beating at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court during a hearing.
He must now carry out 50 hours of unpaid work within the next year, as well as pay £350 in compensation, surcharge and court costs.
