AN MP has visited a fast-growing law firm after her plans to open their office were hit by the pandemic.
Priti Patel MP visited the Marks Tey head office of regional solicitors Holmes and Hills.
The Home Secretary was originally going to open the firm’s A12 Commercial Hub premises, which are on the London Road, 18 months ago, but the plans were halted several times by the pandemic.
During her visit, Priti had a tour of the building and met with Holmes and Hills partner Steven Hopkins, Philip Davies, head of business development, and Sue Hume, the practice’s finance manager.
Priti said: “Everyone has had a tough time over the last couple of years, but it is very good to hear that this new branch has not only survived the pandemic, but has increased and expanded its business.”
Steven Hopkins added: “It was a great pleasure to finally have Priti here at our A12 Commercial Hub.
“We welcomed the opportunity to update her on how we are progressing and the issues we face in the future.
“Her support and encouragement was much appreciated.”
