POLICE are appealing for information or dash cam footage following a burglary in Braintree.
It was reported a resident disturbed two men when they returned to their property in Granary Halt, Rayne, at around 8.10pm on Friday, February 18.
Essex Police say the suspects gained entry to the property by using a step ladder to force a window at the rear.
A quantity of cash and personal items were taken.
The first suspect is described as 5ft 6ins tall and slim build.
The second suspect is described as 6ft tall and stocky build.
Both were dressed in all black clothing and wearing black balaclavas.
The step ladder did not belong to the resident.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: "We need anyone who saw the incident or who has any dash cam footage of anyone or any suspicious vehicles in the area immediately before or after the incident to contact us.
"Please quote crime report 42/42530/22"
