A MAN suffered a broken nose after police were called to reports of "a disturbance" in Harwich.

Essex Police said officers were called to Church Street shortly before 12.30am on Saturday, February 5, to reports of a fight.

A number of people were assaulted, and a man is believed to have suffered a broken nose.

A police spokesman said: "Four men - aged 53, 26, 25 and 23 and all from Harwich - were arrested on suspicion of violent disorder.

"They have been released on bail until March.

"We need anyone who saw anything or has any CCTV, dash cam, mobile phone or doorbell footage to contact us."
